If you’re exhausted from the non-stop demands on your energy and time? Guilt-ridden and weary from trying to please everyone and feeling like you’re failing at everything? Envious of the other women you know who seem to have this working mum thing licked and always seem to have their s**t together? Welcome to the club!
Being a working mum is a tough gig, expectations are higher than ever to be all things to all people and mum guilt is constantly snapping at our heels. In a world where there are so many conflicting priorities, a lack of time, focus and energy can leave you in a spin and self-care falls to the bottom of the list.
I’m a mum of three (plus a step daughter) who knows first hand the exhaustion, pressure, guilt and general busyness of nurturing a career as well as my family’s health and happiness. I work with women who are looking for the headspace to reflect on their current situation, re-evaluate how they achieve balance in their lives and re-invigorate themselves to take action to transform their lives.
I don’t pretend to have this working mum thing licked – I too am often exhausted and overwhelmed (not to mention outnumbered now!), I’d like to drop 2 dress sizes to get back to my pre baby weight, and my kitchen floor could do with a good scrub. I have stories to tell from over the years of how I have tried (and often failed) to successfully juggle life as a working mum….. my daughter flooding the kitchen and circling each chicken pox spot with permanent marker whilst I tried to take a conference call was a particularly memorable epic fail…..But all of this means that I’m human too, I know the struggle of being a working mum only too well and can hopefully relate to whatever you have going on in your life right now.
I am passionate about supporting women to be the best they can be, whilst recognising that there is no such thing as a perfect woman/body/mum/life. I truly believe that we need to take care of our own needs first so that we are able to look after our families, thrive in our careers and fully contribute to our communities.
As my client you will get an authentic, honest, challenging yet supportive coaching space to work through your own situation and come up with workable solutions to feel more in balance and know that you rock as a working mum.
I qualified as a coach over 10 years ago and have put this to good use within the corporate environment through leadership, talent and change management coaching over the years. I am also a certified health coach through the IIN (Institute of Integrative Nutrition) where I have studied over 100 nutritional theories and am studying to become a certified One of Many Coach – a ground breaking female leadership coaching programme (which I am so excited about!)
